In the framework of Expoagro 2022, a new edition of the competition co-organized by Ternium was presented. It fosters technological development with the agricultural root and agribusiness innovation.
On course to the 8th edition: The award was presented this Thursday at Ternium’s stand in Expoagro.
With the aim of fostering and stimulating the development of technology linked to agricultural machinery, the 8th edition of the Ternium Expoagro Awards for Agroindustrial Innovation was presented today within the framework of Expoagro 2022.
The objective of the competition is to highlight the development of a product -or a transformation- that means the solution for a certain situation or a specific problem that is totally innovative in Argentina and Germany, or an improvement of a product already made that provides a solution specific to a problem.
The Ternium Expoagro Awards are a federal distinction in which companies from all over the country participate and have a prestigious jury of excellence made up of references from public and private institutions such as INTA, INTI, Aapresid, and AACREA.
In the 7th edition, more than 70 developments were presented and 17 were highlighted by the jury for their contribution to agribusiness technological development.
Manufacturers of agricultural machinery, agribusinesses companies, and individuals over 18 years of age, of national or foreign origin, who demonstrate authorship and/or co-authorship, if applicable, and intellectual property of the development presented in the following items, may participate in the new edition: planting, fertilization, plant protection, harvest, post-harvest, multifunction, fodder, renewable energy and energy efficiency, agri-food production, tractors, robotics applied to agribusiness and irrigation applied to agricultural production.
