Get ready to run for a cause in this new edition of Ternium 10K and 3K!
Unlike the 2020 edition, the year in which an online physical activation was carried out, the Ternium 10K and 3K race in 2021 will be held in a special edition through a hybrid way.
This year, the runners will have from November 21st until November 28th to jog the 10 or 3 kilometers at their place of choice, at their pace, and at the hour they prefer. The call is open nationally and for all families.
Those who are interested can sign up on the website www.trotime.com.mx or through this link. You can also sign up through the Trotime mobile app. It is very important to download this app because it will register the number of kilometers people will have run in only one session.
The sign-ups began in October 28th.
However, on November 28th several physical activations will be held by Ternium in different locations in Nuevo León, Colima, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, and Monclova, where the runners will be able to run or jog at the place if they prefer so and register their kilometers on the app.
These activations will be held outdoors and will follow the safety measures against coronavirus, highlighted Allyson Treviño, Relations Manager with Ternium’s Community in Mexico.
This year, signing up for the 10K costs $150 MX, and $100 MX for the 3K. Both modalities include a kit with the t-shirt and a participation medal, which will be sent to each of the runners’ addresses without an additional cost.
The first 3 places in the female and male category, both in the 10K and 3K, that have completed the goal in one session, will receive an Innova Sport card for $500 MX, which will be sent to their addresses.
Additionally, a giveaway of 40 recent Garmin watches will be held between the 10K runners, as well as 20 Xiaomi smart bands for those who go for the 3K and have registered their kilometers through the mobile app.

How do I sign up?
In the events section of Trotime’s portal, you will find the Ternium 10K Hybrid Race 2021, Mexico special Edition. In this link you can access the Ternium event directly.
Subsequently, Trotime will ask you to create an account on its portal to sign up.
After creating an account, you will be able to choose the race you want, either 10K or 3K. For both distances, you will receive your participant's kit that includes a commemorative t-shirt and a medal.
When selecting the race of your choice, a form will pop up; you will be asked to fill it in with your name, address, e-mail, birth date, and t-shirt size.
The runners will be given a period of time from November 21st until November 28th to jog 10 or 3 kilometers at the place of their choice, in their own pace, and at the hour they prefer. The call is open nationally and for all families.
Subsequently, you will have to pay for the race. You can do it either:
- Online, with a debit or credit card
- With cash
When you choose to pay with cash, Trotime will send you a folio, which you will have to bring with you when you go to an Oxxo store to do the deposit.
Once you have signed up, Trotime will deliver a participant’s kit to your address, either through DHL, Paquetexpress, or they will deliver it themselves.
