The Techint Group has allocated a US$ 4 million fund to bolster the healthcare systems in the communities where the company operates, all the way from Sault Ste. Marie in Canada to Tartagal in Argentina, as far down as Comodoro Rivadavia, passing through San Nicolás, Ensenada and Ramallo in the province of Buenos Aires. In addition, the Argentine not-for-profit Seamos Uno initiative, which brings together religious, social and business entities and organizations, has collected over 20 thousand boxes of food items and hygiene products which were were delivered to towns in the Buenos Aires suburbs, worth 20 million pesos. The communities lying near the Ternium plants that benefited from this assistance are Ensenada, Berisso, Florencio Varela, Morón and Ezeiza.

Through Seamos Uno we have delivered 20,000 boxes of food and hygiene products to families living in suburban communities near our plants, including Ensenada, Berisso, Florencio Varela, Morón and Ezeiza.
