Argentina: Gente del Acero Newsletter

Share

We present a new edition of the magazine “Gente del Acero”, Ternium’s way of communication with its community. On the cover of the number 93, the inauguration of the new classrooms in the Technical Secondary School N. 1 “Bonifacio Velázquez” of Villa Ramallo in the framework of the Technical Gen program.

The Newspaper “El Norte” distributes the printed version of the newsletter for free in San Nicolás, Argentina.

Through its pages, we will learn familiar entrepreneurship of San Nicolás focused on sustainability: Ecopallets is a company that replaced wood pallets for steel, which is 100% recyclable, to contribute to environmental care.

This latest edition goes through the traditional Encounter with the Community that Ternium kept with representatives of several organizations in San Nicolás and Ramallo during December.

In this issue, Gente del Acero brings all of the coverage with the main characters of the 10K Virtual Ternium, where not only people from San Nicolás and Ramallo were invited, but the word was also spread around other provinces of the country and even around the world. The charitable purpose of 10K Ternium was to collaborate with an organization from the city: in this case, we helped APAC Cooperanza and we interviewed the director in “Primera Persona”: Florencia Moliterno.

In addition to this, a story of effort and dedication: Carola and Candela Paglino are twins who study at the Bonifacio Velázquez School; both received 12 medals and a scholarship from Ternium due to their outstanding academic performance.
