Among the in-person and virtual modes, over 2,200 runners in 24 states of Mexico.
The 10K Ternium Hybrid Race was a full success! From November 21 to 28, several hundred people in 24 different states ran 10 or 3K with cause.
In total, among the in-person mode and the virtual mode, 2,200 people had the opportunity of running with a cause; over 8,418 kilometers were run by all participants.
Last November 28th, this in-person activity took place in Nuevo León, Colima, Puebla and Monclova, where 1,100 runners had an appointment to run their kilometers.
During this day, César Jiménez, Executive President; Daniel Carrillo, mayor of San Nicolás de los Garza, and Ofelia Solís, goalkeeper of the female football soccer team Tigres, met at the Las Arboledas park, where they highlighted the importance of this kind of events to encourage sports, health and general wellbeing.
On November 28th, this event took place in different parts of the country.
In all these locations, a colorful ambiance was lived, in which the main standard was running for a cause. Everything which was collected in registrations was donated by Ternium to the Asociación Regiomontana de Niños Autistas (Arena). Besides, for every run kilometer, the company contributed 50 pesos more.
Ternium delivered over 714 thousand pesos to Arena, this donation was delivered on December 1st at an in-person event in the Nova Theater.
Arena has the mission of dignifying and promoting the inclusion of people with autism in their social, family, and educational environments, granting integral attention for autism, specialized therapies, evaluation, and diagnosis services for Autism and Asperger cases.
“We hope that this donation is of great help for these children. We wish all of the success in the world for them, asking them to continue with such beautiful work, and we want to let you know that Ternium can be counted on as an associate to help in whatever can be done,” Jiménez highlighted during the check delivery ceremony.
“At Ternium, we have a series of educational, healthcare, cultural, and sports programs with which we seek to develop integrally all communities. The Hybrid Race 10K Ternium was such an example.”
The donation was delivered in an in-person event organized on December 1st.
On the other hand, Alejandra Cadena, an active member of the Arena patronage, thanked all of the support Ternium provided in this event.
“Thanks to this support, approximately 14 children and their families will be benefited, all of whom are being attended at Arena. They will receive an integral level of attention for a whole school year. We thank this profoundly”, Reyes said.
